Book excerpt: This paper provides new data on the succession of acritarch assemblages, and some information on that of chitinozoans, in warm, mainly shallow, water, marine carbonate deposits of the Canadian cratonic realm. The work is based on the well-exposed, almost continuous, unfaulted section at Wilcox Pass, located about 2.5 km north of the Athabasca Glacier, between Banff and Jasper, in the southern Canadian Rocky Mountains.
