In the exordium which precedes the Delphinium proving, we miss the imposing list of old school authorities that usually appears; a list amounting to no less than ninety-three names in the case of opium. No references or quota tions from traditional medicine are cited for Staphisagria, and for the best of all reasons there were none for Hahnemann to cite.
