Book excerpt: REGARDING: On behalf of the International Community, we are calling on Vladimir Putin to tender his resignation as president of Russia. Dear Vladimir Putin, On behalf of the International Community, I am writing to you to tender your resignation as president of Russia – also in view that dozens of municipal deputies from Moscow and St. Petersburg have called on you to resign in a letter published on 12. September 2022 – the majority of the Russian People also favoring your resignation. In our opinion, you have been a good President for Russia up until your your illegal war on Ukraine - which has killed over 47,000 Russian troops; and has killed or injured over 1,500 children in Ukraine. During your presidency you gave back a sense of purpose and pride to the Russian People, during a difficult time in Russia's history. And I am sure that the Russian people were grateful for that, and that you will be remembered kindly in history – provided that you resign as president of Russia with dignity and grace, and with immediate effect. A Governmental Change in Russia is imperative to stop human capital flight - and to stop the killing of innocent children in Ukraine by the Putin regime. A continuation of Russia's illegal war in Ukraine would increasingly harm Russia's reputation, and isolate the Russian People economically, socially and culturally – which is unnecessary and can be avoided, if Russia ends the war in Ukraine. This includes the withdrawal of all Russian troops from Ukrainian territory; and restoring Freedom of Speech, Press, Assembly and Association in Russia. It should also be noted that the peaceful transfer of power is part of a civilized and democratic society. The International Community is advised to keep a safe distance from the Putin regime, until Russia makes Peace with Ukraine, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) has been restored in the region. To avoid a power vacuum in the Russian Federation – and another violent revolution in Mother Russia – the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding will be handling matters in Russia temporarily; such as domestic policy, foreign policy and Human Rights in Russia. We encourage the People of Russia to implement a peaceful governmental change by forming a new Russian Government.
