Round Table on the Environment and the Economy is to recommend to Cabinet processes and mechanisms of the resolution of land use and other environment/economy conflicts. The purpose of this report is to describe the underlying premise of the Dispute Resolution Core Group regarding the use of consensus in managing land and resources; to present the findings regarding B.C.'s experience on consensus approaches to conflict management, to show what lesson can be learned; and to offer a g̀uide' to consensus processes for use in environment/economy conflicts.
