She had meant the entirety of the story, every moment of the agony. "No. I wouldn''t wish it upon anyone but me," Dante smiled. Prologue: "When time wrote the forgotten tale of a General''s war against his King, for a fragile balance between what he saw as good and evil; destroying him to the edges of his frayed soul, it wept. When time painted a tale for every imaginable pain in the world, it yearned to paint him. As it spiraled down Dante''s Inferno, Paradisio and Purgatorio, it couldn''t even grasp the canvas anymore. When it couldn''t, a woman could. When she did, it was nothing more than a faded reverie of words, memories and an aftertaste of gory". From the Author: I wanted my life to be a painting of watercolours. The softness, the paleness, it felt exactly like love and warmth. Like a hug.
