What precipitated my putting finger to keyboard was located in a cardboard box, stashed away and wrapped in a black garbage bag high upon a shelf in the guest bedroom closet. I was thinking a lot about my 'dark days' and how far I had come from those crippling depressed times in the early 90's so I decided to pull down that black bag filled with memories and take a peek back into a bleak, yet rewarding,past.
