In 1890 They immigrated to the United States, settling in Eureka, South Dakota. In 1902 one of the children, George, moved from Eureka to Hazelton, North Dakota. He married Elizabeth Himmerich in 1907. They lived in Hazelton until 1918 when they moved near Streeter, North Dakota. They had nine children. The family history continues with George and Elizabeth's children and families.
