Year in Italy, ending with emigration to Australia. After 8 years there, arrival in Berkeley, CA to pursue graduate studies in nuclear engineering, marriage to Barbara (from Kansas) and start of a family. Follows work for Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, PA, then in Maryland for the US Atomic Energy Commission. Includes description of many local and overseas trips.
