D. 1858 Ministering brethren being invited to seats, Elder F. M. Law came forward. Upon a call for churches petitioning membership in this Association, Sardis and Mt. Moriah, in Coosa county, with Refuge, from Tallapoosa county, newly constituted churches; and Liberty, bearing a letter from' Liberty Association, each handed in their letters, were separately voted upon, received, and the right hand of fellowship extended.
