Owing to illness, Mr. Shepard has been unable to write The Recusants in Warwickshire, that was included in the original contents. It only remains for me to record my most grateful thanks to the writers, and to all those who have so kindly taken or lent photographs and blocks for illustrations; also to Mr. Francis B.
