Employees at Company XYZ were struggling to transfer the knowledge, skills, and abilities after on-the-job training was completed. This study identified the methods to improve the transfer of training after on-the-job training is completed. The purpose of this study was to survey employees at Company XYZ on the effectiveness of the on-the-job training process and on-the-job trainer. The research identified potential opportunities to improve the overall on-the-job training process to improve the likelihood of transfer of training.
