Known to all Health is a fundamental component of the physical and emotional well being of individuals, couples and families. It is also a broad and important parameter for the social and economic development of communities and nations. The book tries to capture and highlight glimpses of perceived gender role, and knowledge about sexual and reproductive health of youth and builds an association between the socio-cultural factors including perceived gender role and unintended parenthood, risk of RTI/STI as well as HIV/AIDS. An attempt here has been made to reveal the unequal perceived gender role of youth towards sexual and reproductive behavior of both sexes. Knowledge about various sexual and reproductive health indicators is inadequate among the youth. It's also through light on the findings how the young women are in a disadvantages position with regards to experience of sexual and reproductive health risk particularly within the tribal community.
