Book excerpt: Excerpt from First Annual Report of the Chief Medical Officer to the Minister of Health, New Brunswick: For the Year Ending October 31st, 1918 You will note that the foregoing table does not account for the whole province. Considerable districts are omitted from which I was unable to obtain anything like reliable information. It is also proper to say that Campbellton in the table stands for, largely, not only that town, but for a large portion of the County of Restigouche. Since formulating the table, I have received in the annual report of the Chairman of the Local Board of Health of Westmorland, an estimate of 1000 cases there, and a great many deaths. In the other annual reports, the Influenza cases, seem, upon the whole, to be included, generally, in the table, and are consequently not reckoned apart from it.
