The fire chief retires Firedauber to a mountain side pasture overlooking the village, and one night Firedauber sees a flicker of flame in the village; jumps the fence, wakes the fire chief, and together they race away once more to successfully subdue a fire Firedauber is awarded a retirement stall inside the fire station and lives happily ever after.
