Chapter Three also presents a collection of the main sources of ellagic acid, as well as structural and safety features related to its applications on diet. Chapter Four shows the effect of ellagic acid on mitochondrial related diseases with an emphasis on its mitochondrial targeting which contribute to these pathological conditions.
