Download or read book Designing and Implementing a Sorting Neural Network written by Catherine A. MacNamara and published by . This book was released on 1992 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "This project describes some of the basic characteristics of Neural Networks. It then investigates the existing Hopfield network, used to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem and how it has been modified to sort a list of integers. THis project designs, implements, tests and analyzes three different sorting Neural Networks. These networks are based on the existing bubble sort algorithm and the quick sort algorithm. These three networks are then compared to the modified Hopfield Network. Finally, it addresses a number of software engineering issues related to the design, implementation and tesing of Neural Networks."--Author's abstract.
