This is to be done especially in connection with class-room work, when there may be discussion of the registered facts as bearing on diagnosis and for predictability of the outlook, and where there may be a statement of what has really happened in the further history of such a case. The material has been collected under the endowment of the Juvenile Psychopathic Institute of Chicago. It is presented for professional use with the usual professional disguises of personali ties and places. In every case, however, there is an accurate representation of a type as such. The ground covered by the text books on mental defectives has, for the most part, been purposely avoided. The form of presentation is varied partly to accord with the order in which facts were practically obtainable.
