The purpose of this book is to help build a bridge between domestic violence victims/survivors, outside licensed professionals, and church leaders to bring complete healing to abused women. Dr. Smith in collaboration with a pastor in California will also be creating a program that churches can use as an outreach ministry or small group to teach other pastors about domestic violence and how to minister effectively to victims and survivors.
