Months later when the ship returns, they become captives of Pizarro and his soldiers and a dangerous future begins. The two friends must guide the Spaniards across the treacherous Andes Mountains to meet the Inca King, Atahualpa. There, a tragedy ensues. In the true story of the battle between a fearless conquistador and the powerful king of the Inca Empire, Manco and Amaru find their own values tested to the utmost.
