In addition, requirements and methods for handling spatial data are explored. The report emphasizes the dual need for data organization methods and data handling capabilities, as a requisite for utilization of data acquired from remote sensors mounted on earth orbital platforms. This work provides a basis for examination of some problems of integrating remote sensors into a viable geographic information system.
