Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about my true life story. My autobiography. My life reminds me of the character Celie in the movie “The Color Purple”. My entire life growing up was that of a “slave”. I was not raised like a normal little girl should have been raised with pretty dresses, hair bows, shiny shoes, lace socks and beautiful dolls. The only doll I had resembled a clown with long legs and long arms with pink cheeks and chubby jaws and raggedy shoes. We were not allowed to celebrate holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and we never received Birthday gifts.
