These persons where attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival that was occurring on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. This incident saw over 58 persons dead and over 546 injured. This occurred approximately 10pm on the night when the Stephen Paddock of Nevada fired hundreds of rounds from his hotel into the crowd attending at the musical festival. Approximately an hour later, Paddock fired his last shot of the night. He was then found dead in his hotel room from a self- inflicted gunshot wound.
