Included are discussions of the pavement management process with examples of priority programming, long-range projection of maintenance-replacement needs, and the monitoring of pavement rating teams. The report shows that the Department has made great progress both in the development and implementation of the pavement management system. Several recommendations address areas in which the system can be "fine tuned" and made more useful to both top and middle management.
