Unfortunately all the measures that have been used by NGOs and other international organizations, orphanages and the government of Lesotho have not yet managed to lift the heavy burden carried by orphans and vulnerable kids, Besides, some measures used as solutions to the challenges have not yielded the desired results instead they have made things worse for the orphans and vulnerable children. For example, some kids who are being sponsored by international NGOs or other organization in the country and some of those under government sponsorship are being severely punished by their so called close relatives. Therefore whoever will read this book must know that something must be done quickly. There is much happening behind closed doors in our communities. Abuse of all kinds is ongoing behind closed doors and the culture of silence is not helping matters. Maybe orphans who are now grown up will take the bull by the horns and speak openly about the terrible situations that innocent children are undergoing.
